Facio – a musical globetrotter

Facio is a musician, German-born with Italian roots. He is a singer / songwriter & composer and writes music for Spanish Guitar. Facio’s songs and instrumental pieces are a unique mix of Acoustic Reggae, Latin, World Music, Pop and Mediterranean Guitar. The artist’s name is pronounced Italian and sounds like “Fatcho” [faʤo].

Facio is a musical globetrotter inspired by the Mediterranean atmosphere: “I love to write my music on travel, be it “Non Parlo Italiano”,  “Je Suis Triste”, “La Perla or “Strada Do Sul. Facio’s acoustic music style is a novelty.

His charming SummerhitKalimera Maria” was played on several radio stations in London and Greece (2015). Further more Emirates Airline is playing Facio’s song “Agapi Mou – from London to Corfu” on its Inflight radio channels (2016). Facio performed “Kalimera Maria” at Balcony TV in Chamonix (France). Facio’s greatest passion is playing live!

Facio is a stunning live act. The reason why his performances are always very successful is quite simple: EVERYBODY loves his music! His remarkable voice, Facio’s catchy melodies and his groovy guitar make his audience dance, dream and simply feel good!

In 2008 Facio met World Music-Star Manu Chao who invited him to Barcelona. In 2011 Manu Chao asked Facio to open one of his shows (Tollwood Festival, Munich).

Facio also shared stages and worked together with artists such as MTV-Award-nominee Oliver Sean, Reggae singer Zoe (“Could it be you” feat. Ky-Mani Marley), Yuriy Gurzhy (Shtetl Superstars, Russendisko Berlin), Michael Mendl (one of Germany’s leading TV / Movie actors), Millie Manders (“Millie Manders and the Shutup“), video directors Stephan Vorbrugg and Bogdan Kramliczek and percussionist Miles Bould, who played with Sting, Beyoncé a.o.

Facio’s highly acclaimed concert appearances include performances in the Bar Mariatchi (Barcelona), the Roundhouse and at the Bloomsbury Festival in the Charles Dickens Museum (both London) a.o.

Facio’s music at the Cannes Film Festival

Facio’s music was chosen as the film soundtrack for the short movie You Look Stunning Too“ (UK 2013) which was in competition at the 2013 Film Festival in Cannes. Facio also has been a popular radio presenter. As a music producer he was commissioned by Alfred Music Publishing, Sony Classical, ARRI CommercialUniversal Music and radio stations like the German major broadcaster Klassik Radio.

After a couple of years in London (UK) Facio is currently living in Berlin (Germany) and at the Lake Zurich (Switzerland).
